“The Girl'sfriend from internet” is an indie rock band, who started out from a group of friends that ‘had’ and ‘still have’ something in common. The earliest members were Binn and Todd. Both happened to have too much free time from their college classes and happened to be neighbours at the dorm, they started sharing their playlists on iPods (or maybe cassettes back then). Until one day, they decided to form their very own “The Girl'sfriend from internet” under the concept they describe ‘Trust in something that’s rude but polite to communicate with our mind.’ Later on, the musical gravity pulled Ice to play the drum and Ti for the guitars, completing the band up with the youngest member Ping. A small step was getting bigger as they started playing regularly at Lullabar covering tunes from the late 70’s to 2000. Finally, they had an opportunity to perform their own song, ‘Star Ratio,’ the 1st song ever been written by the member and still being played today. “The Girl'sfriend from internet” has been gaining its recognition and performing more at parties like Lullabar Fest, Soma, Arcadia, Mind the Gap, Happy Alone, and Dudesweet. They were also an opening band for Futon’s new album launch party. Their song ‘Kid’s eyes view’ was in DDT magazine and performed on stage at Tiger Translate. Time is passing. So does their experience grows. Playing more and more music opens up their vision which leads them to greater goal. But their style remains, the feelings and emotions of live music.
